Back & Neck Pain Relief

Back and neck pain often arise from muscular strain, facet joint irritation, disc pathology, spinal stenosis, degenerative changes, or nerve root compression. Our Back & Neck Pain Relief program begins with a thorough clinical evaluation, including physical examination, imaging review, and assessment of biomechanical dysfunction. Treatment options include manual therapy, myofascial release, postural retraining, and therapeutic exercise to restore spinal stability and mobility.

Treatments available for Back Pain:

Lumbar Epidural Steroid Injection (LESI)
A procedure in which a steroid medication is injected into the epidural space of the lower spine to reduce inflammation and relieve pain caused by nerve irritation, such as from a disc bulge or spinal stenosis.

Lumbar Transforaminal Epidural Injection (TFESI)
A targeted type of epidural injection where steroid medication is delivered through the opening (foramen) where a specific spinal nerve exits the lower spine, helping reduce pain, inflammation, and nerve compression that may radiate into the leg.

Lumbar Medial Branch Block (MBB)
A minimally invasive procedure in which a local anesthetic, sometimes combined with a steroid, is injected near the medial branch nerves of the lower spine. These nerves supply the facet joints. The injection is used to diagnose and temporarily relieve lower back pain caused by facet joint problems.

Caudal Epidural Injection
A procedure in which a steroid medication, often combined with a local anesthetic, is injected into the epidural space through the caudal (tailbone) area at the base of the spine. It is used to reduce inflammation and relieve lower back and leg pain caused by nerve irritation, disc problems, or spinal stenosis.

Treatments available for Neck Pain:

Cervical Epidural Steroid Injection
A procedure in which steroid medication is injected into the epidural space of the neck to reduce inflammation and relieve neck, shoulder, and arm pain caused by nerve irritation.

Cervical Medial Branch Block
A minimally invasive injection that targets the medial branch nerves supplying the cervical facet joints. It is used to diagnose and temporarily relieve neck pain related to facet joint problems.

Cervical Nerve Root Block
A targeted injection of local anesthetic and steroid around a specific cervical nerve root to reduce inflammation and pain that may radiate from the neck into the arm.

Occipital Nerve Block
An injection of local anesthetic, with or without steroid, around the occipital nerves at the back of the head to relieve headaches and pain originating from the upper neck and scalp.
