Back Pain

Imagine starting each day with a constant ache in your mid-back that makes even simple movements feel exhausting. Or experiencing a sudden, sharp pain that spreads from your spine to your chest, leaving you short of breath and worried about the cause.

Back pain often stems from muscle strain, spinal joint irritation, disc changes, nerve compression, or repetitive stress from daily activities. It can cause stiffness, sharp or aching discomfort, reduced mobility, or pain radiating into the hips and legs. When inflammation or muscular imbalance progresses, back pain may interfere with work, sleep, and physical activity, increasing the risk of chronic symptoms. Early evaluation helps identify structural or mechanical issues that contribute to ongoing flare-ups.

Different Types of Back Pain:

Pain originating from the lumbar spine often radiates down the leg and into the foot.

Pain caused by facet joint arthropathy typically worsens with bending forward or movement and is associated with tenderness along the sides of the spine.

Pain arising from the sacroiliac joint is usually felt when getting up from a sitting position and is accompanied by tenderness over the dimples at the lower back

Muscle-related pain is generally linked to activity or use of the affected muscle.
